Liza Eaton
Liza Eaton has been the lead science teacher at Odyssey since 2003.Since her arrival, she has been integral to some key structural and
curriculum-focused changes that have helped the school achieve their
current 'high' ranking. Specifically, she was integral to
modification of the middle school teaching staff from two people to
three. She also re-vamped the middle school science curriculum to
make it current and interdisciplinary within the science strands.
Liza is currently on the assessment committee at Odyssey, working to
focus the school on assessment for learning in order to help all kids
succeed. Her passion throughout life, whether teaching at an
environmental education center, running outdoor education programs, or
working in the classroom, is to help children think like scientists
and use their understanding to affect change.
